Paper Hazel covers junk journals, scrapbooks, journaling and the printables and paper crafts that go into them. Every article answers one question a person has with a journal open on the table: how to start the page, why it looks messy, which glue to use, how to keep a printable sharp.
How an Article Is Made
- The idea is made on paper first. If I have not built the layout or printed the sheet, it does not go in.
- Each layout is broken into layers, with the materials for each one.
- Printables are printed on a home inkjet before they are recommended. Paper weight and print setting go next to them.
- Where a step usually goes wrong — curling pages, a spine that will not close, a sheet that prints blurry — the article names the problem and the fix.
- Images are made for the article. We do not reuse other people’s photos of their journals.
Products We Mention
A product appears only when it solves something the free route does not: a printable kit that saves an evening of cutting, a paper that does not buckle under glue. We check that other buyers have been happy with it before it goes in. We do not accept payment for placement.
Keeping Things Current
Articles are checked and updated. The date at the top of each article shows when it was last updated.
