About Emerald Green & Gold Plaid Digital Paper
Emerald Green & Gold Plaid Digital Paper is our 12x12 digital paper pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. The save count is still small at 2, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. The designer behind it is Clipart Mart. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
Digital papers get cut and layered, so the question is whether the pattern still reads in a two-centimetre strip — check the preview at that scale. We would use it the way the listing hints — checkered digital paper — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every printable on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
The listing files it under christmas background, christmas card background, christmas craft paper and christmas digital paper — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. The searches that bring people to this shelf are scrapbook paper, digital planner and digital scrapbooking — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. Nearby you will see paper pack, scrapbook paper, patterned paper, paper pattern and seamless pattern, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. You will find it among the digital papers, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
