About Retro
We went back and forth on Retro and kept it, because the alternative was a shelf full of printables that look better than they work. Green Pilot made it. 17 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
The obvious job for it is 70s retro seamless pattern, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Look for a repeat that tiles. A sheet that cannot be extended runs out exactly when the spread needs one more strip. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every printable on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
Type 60s retro pattern into the search above and this one comes back — the same printable under four different habits of phrasing. You will find it among the digital papers, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. The neighbouring searches are paper pack, scrapbook paper, patterned paper and paper pattern — worth a look if this particular printable is close but not quite it. Judged against the requests we see — scrapbook paper, digital planner and digital scrapbooking — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs.

How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
