About Vintage Book Covers Background Papers
Vintage Book Covers Background Papers earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to antique, and straight answers are rarer in this printable catalogue than you would think. Only 54 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 3 reviews, all of them on the listing. We would use it the way the listing hints — background — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Digital papers get cut and layered, so the question is whether the pattern still reads in a two-centimetre strip — check the preview at that scale. A rating like that takes most of the guesswork out. The preview at full size takes out the rest.
If you came in looking for cove, digital papers, old book and paper, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. On this site it lives on the Digital Papers shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing digital papers rather than searching for it by name. We track what people actually type before they land here: scrapbook paper, digital planner and digital scrapbooking. If that is roughly what you were after, this printable is in the right family. The neighbouring searches are paper pack, scrapbook paper, patterned paper, paper pattern and seamless pattern — worth a look if this particular printable is close but not quite it.

How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
