About Vintage Frame
The reason Vintage Frame is here is abstract and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It comes from Almairatype Studio.
Put it to work on antique first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Look for a repeat that tiles. A sheet that cannot be extended runs out exactly when the spread needs one more strip. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether abstract is really what you are getting.
The words on the listing are art, background, banner and border, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. Put next to the usual requests here — scrapbook paper, digital planner and digital scrapbooking — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
