About Black Zigzag Border Frames Set
Black Zigzag Border Frames Set is our abstract shapes pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. No saves on it yet — new files sit like that for a while, and it says nothing about the file. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. The designer behind it is DesignVectx.
Cutouts are only as good as their edges. Zoom in on the preview: a white halo around a cut piece shows up on every page you glue it to. If you want one use for it, take artwork: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether abstract shapes is really what you are getting.
Filed as black, black frames, border design and borderline design. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. The same shelf also answers to ephemera, cut out, cutout, die cut and tag, so widen the search there before giving up on it. We keep it under Ephemera and Cut-Outs, which is where to look if you want the rest of the ephemera and cut-outs we have gone through. Judged against the requests we see — polaroid frame, bookmark ideas, sticker design, collage photo frame design and sticker sheet — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs.

How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
