About Book Border Art Design Alpona
Book Border Art Design Alpona earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to abstract, and straight answers are rarer in this printable catalogue than you would think. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. It sits at 2 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. The designer behind it is Anup Ray.
Our own plan for it is arabesque, because that is where this kind of printable does the least arguing with you. Cutouts are only as good as their edges, so zoom in: a white halo round a piece shows on every page you glue it to. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether abstract is really what you are getting.
The words on the listing are arabic, art, background and beauty, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. The wording people arrive with is polaroid frame, bookmark ideas, sticker design, collage photo frame design and sticker sheet, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. We filed it under Ephemera and Cut-Outs for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. The neighbouring searches are ephemera, cut out, cutout, die cut and tag — worth a look if this particular printable is close but not quite it.

How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
