About Distress Overlay Texture
The reason Distress Overlay Texture is here is age and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. 3 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. It is Nayem Khan's work.
Cutouts are only as good as their edges. Zoom in on the preview: a white halo around a cut piece shows up on every page you glue it to. The obvious job for it is border, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether age is really what you are getting.
If you came in looking for aged, brush, brushed and chalk, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. The neighbouring searches are ephemera, cut out, cutout, die cut and tag — worth a look if this particular printable is close but not quite it. We filed it under Ephemera and Cut-Outs for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. The wording people arrive with is polaroid frame, bookmark ideas, sticker design, collage photo frame design and sticker sheet, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
