About Geometric Shapes Black Line Vector
What we like about Geometric Shapes Black Line Vector is how little it tries to be everything — it does abstract shape, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Ephemera and Cut-Outs shelf. Nobody has piled onto it yet, which means the only recommendation here is ours. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. It comes from DesignVectx.
Our own plan for it is arch, because that is where this kind of printable does the least arguing with you. Cutouts are only as good as their edges, so zoom in: a white halo round a piece shows on every page you glue it to. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether abstract shape is really what you are getting.
It answers to arch shape, black, black and white and black line, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. We filed it under Ephemera and Cut-Outs for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. The wording people arrive with is polaroid frame, bookmark ideas, sticker design, collage photo frame design and sticker sheet, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. The neighbouring searches are ephemera, cut out, cutout, die cut and tag — worth a look if this particular printable is close but not quite it.

How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
