About Happy First Day of School-Back to School
Most of what turns up under back to school gift tags needs work before it is usable. Happy First Day of School-Back to School is the version that does not. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. The save count is still small at 17, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Happy Printables Club made it.
Cutouts are only as good as their edges. Zoom in on the preview: a white halo around a cut piece shows up on every page you glue it to. If you want one use for it, take back to school student gift tags: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every printable on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
Type back to school, back to school tags, back to school teacher gift tags and first day of school into the search above and this one comes back — the same printable under four different habits of phrasing. Nearby you will see ephemera, cut out, cutout, die cut and label, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. On this site it lives on the Ephemera and Cut-Outs shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing ephemera and cut-outs rather than searching for it by name. Put next to the usual requests here — polaroid frame, bookmark ideas, sticker design, collage photo frame design and sticker sheet — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often.

How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
