About Ornament Frame
What we like about Ornament Frame is how little it tries to be everything — it does abstract, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Ephemera and Cut-Outs shelf. It comes from Almairatype Studio. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. The save count is still small at 3, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
Cutouts are only as good as their edges. Zoom in on the preview: a white halo around a cut piece shows up on every page you glue it to. The obvious job for it is antique, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
