About Polaroid Collections
What we like about Polaroid Collections is how little it tries to be everything — it does background, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Ephemera and Cut-Outs shelf. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. The designer behind it is Raya Design. Only 13 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
Cutouts are only as good as their edges, so zoom in: a white halo round a piece shows on every page you glue it to. We keep it filed mentally under blank, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Filed as design, empty, flower and frame photography. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
