What we like about Symmetrical Frame Designs SVG Bundle is how little it tries to be everything — it does black frame, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Ephemera and Cut-Outs shelf. It has gone unnoticed so far. We found it worth shelving anyway. Priyo Design Shop made it. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
Cutouts are only as good as their edges. Zoom in on the preview: a white halo around a cut piece shows up on every page you glue it to. The obvious job for it is border frame, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether black frame is really what you are getting.
It answers to border template, classic frame, clipart frame and corner frame, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
