About PNG String 2
PNG String 2 earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to 300 dpi, and straight answers are rarer in this printable catalogue than you would think. Wetfish Designs made it. Count what you would actually glue down. A kit of forty pieces with eight usable ones is a smaller kit than it looks. Put it to work on black and white first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether 300 dpi is really what you are getting.

How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
