About PNG Twine 2
Most of what turns up under 300 dpi needs work before it is usable. PNG Twine 2 is the version that does not. It is Wetfish Designs's work. It sits at 8 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
A kit earns its place when the pieces share a palette, so we look at the sheet as a whole rather than falling for one pretty element. The obvious job for it is botanical scrapbook, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every printable on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
Filed as burlap twine, card making, cluster elements and cord elements. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. You will find it among the junk journal kits, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
