About Secret Garden Junk Journal
Secret Garden Junk Journal stayed on the shelf for the dull reason that it works. We would rather have one of these than three printables with ideas of their own. The save count is still small at 4, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It comes from Design Hut.
A kit earns its place when the pieces share a palette, so look at the sheet as a whole rather than falling for one element. It is the sort of printable we keep around for the job that cannot wait for a redraw. How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
