The Iron Gate Silhouette is one we kept when we last trimmed this shelf: it does its one job and does not ask for attention while doing it. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. No saves on it yet — new files sit like that for a while, and it says nothing about the file. It is Selvia Design's work.
Print a test page on the paper you actually use — the same file on copy paper and on cardstock is two different colours. We would reach for it when the deadline matters more than the flourish. How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
