About Déco 502

We put Déco 502 on the Textures and Backgrounds shelf because clipart is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. Nobody has piled onto it yet, which means the only recommendation here is ours. Credit goes to PubliKado.

We would use it the way the listing hints — decoration — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. A background has to take ink and glue without fighting the thing on top of it, so the quiet sheets get used far more than the dramatic ones. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

Type design, digital, drawing and embellishment into the search above and this one comes back — the same printable under four different habits of phrasing. The same shelf also answers to texture, background, grunge, watercolor background and overlay, so widen the search there before giving up on it. We keep it under Textures and Backgrounds, which is where to look if you want the rest of the textures and backgrounds we have gone through. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on scrapbook background, watercolor background, calligraphy background, vintage background for scrapbook and polaroid background, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first.

How to use this printable

  1. Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
  2. Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
  3. Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
  4. Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
