About Father's Day Greeting Card
What we like about Father's Day Greeting Card is how little it tries to be everything — it does celebration, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Textures and Backgrounds shelf. The save count is at zero, so there is nothing to lean on but the preview and our reading of it. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. It is Yamurchik's work.
A background has to take ink and glue without fighting what goes on top, so the quiet sheets get used far more than the dramatic ones. The obvious job for it is dad, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Filed as card, daddy, family and father. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. The wording people arrive with is scrapbook background, watercolor background, calligraphy background, vintage background for scrapbook and polaroid background, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. We keep it under Textures and Backgrounds, which is where to look if you want the rest of the textures and backgrounds we have gone through. The same shelf also answers to texture, background, grunge, watercolor background and overlay, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
