Most of what turns up under 3d mandala needs work before it is usable. Layered Snowflakes is the version that does not. If you want one use for it, take 3d paper snowflake.: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. A background has to take ink and glue without fighting the thing on top of it, so the quiet sheets get used far more than the dramatic ones. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether 3d mandala is really what you are getting.
Search for 3d snowflake, christmas decor, cricut and dimensional snowflake and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same printable, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Nearby you will see texture, background, grunge, watercolor background and overlay, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. The wording people arrive with is scrapbook background, watercolor background, calligraphy background, vintage background for scrapbook and polaroid background, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
