About Metallic Holographic Background
Metallic Holographic Background earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to abstract backgrounds with holographic noise, and straight answers are rarer in this printable catalogue than you would think. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. It comes from Art's and Patterns. 1 save means nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
If you want one use for it, take abstract gradient holographs: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Print one at the size you work at. A texture that is subtle on screen can be heavy on paper and swallow everything you layer over it. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether abstract backgrounds with holographic noise is really what you are getting.
The listing files it under abstract gradient textures with noise, abstract holographic templates, abstract holographic transitions and abstract textures with holographic noise. — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. The searches that bring people to this shelf are scrapbook background, watercolor background, calligraphy background, vintage background for scrapbook and polaroid background — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. Nearby you will see grunge, watercolor background and overlay, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. We filed it under Textures and Backgrounds for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
