About Vintage Distressed Texture

Our own plan for it is aged texture, because that is where this kind of printable does the least arguing with you. Look at the typography in a vintage sheet: period lettering is what sells the age, and a modern font in the corner undoes the whole thing. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every printable on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
It answers to artistic texture, black and white texture, branding texture and cover design texture, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. People after this usually search antique, victorian, collage sheet, botanical and retro too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
