About Ornament Frame
What we like about Ornament Frame is how little it tries to be everything — it does abstract, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Ephemera and Cut-Outs shelf. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. Credit goes to Almairatype Studio. With 1 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
Our own plan for it is antique, because that is where this kind of printable does the least arguing with you. Cutouts are only as good as their edges. Zoom in on the preview: a white halo around a cut piece shows up on every page you glue it to. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
If you came in looking for art, background, banner and baroque, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. You will find it among the ephemera and cut-outs, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. The same shelf also answers to ephemera, cut out, cutout, die cut and tag, so widen the search there before giving up on it. Judged against the requests we see — polaroid frame, bookmark ideas, sticker design, collage photo frame design and sticker sheet — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs.

How to use this printable
- Download the kit from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — most kits are JPG or PNG pages plus a print-ready PDF.
- Print on something heavier than copy paper: 120 gsm and up takes glue and water without buckling.
- Print at 100% and keep «fit to page» off — a shrunk sheet throws off every cut-out that was drawn to size.
- Tea-stain or sand the edges if the set looks too crisp next to the rest of your journal; vintage paper is never evenly coloured.
